The South East Association of Governance Advisory Services (SEAGAS) incorporate members from across the South East, including LA, Diocese and Independent and commercial companies.
We welcome applications to join the group from any organisation or individual that provides advice, support, training or sold clerking services to groups of schools or academies as a traded service or as an outcome of their statutory role in respect of schools. It is not open to individual clerks and consultant trainers. SEAGAS may, from time to time, include other individuals in CPD.
The group provides peer to peer support to members so that that there is always the opportunity to talk through particular cases or ask advice on a governance matter.
The group has three meetings per year; including two online and one CPD full day event annually. Recent CPD topics have covered Complaints, Governor recruitment, SIAMS and CSI inspections and Ofsted.

Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Berkshire, Brighton and Hove, Surrey, Hampshire and IOW.
